Liverpool have announced that World cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and Hungarian starlet Dominik Szoboszlai will be joining the Merseyside reds, and with that comes a well-awaited rejuvenation to Liverpool’s midfield that has been subpar and not exactly creative since Coutinho’s departure.

Starting off with the Gunners, Gabriel Jesus has been a 7/10, and although he was not their standout player of the 22/23 season, Saka and Martinelli have been able to shine next to him upfront.
Arsenal needs backup Centre backs as soon as possible. Saliba’s absence towards the end of Arsenal’s 22/23 season due to injury was evidence enough that there needs to be some changes made as the Gunners lost out on the league in the remaining fixtures of April and May.
After topping the league for almost 10 months, Arsenal’s dip in form was unexpected and abhorrent. Add in the disparity in terms of sheer ability to defend, then you’ll notice that the likes of Rob Holding are not fit backup for a title contending club.
